On the 28th May the ManiFiestAcción was held in Madrid, where thousands of us took to the streets to demand a change in the policies regarding the use and consumption of cannabis and responsible regulation whereby users may consume in complete freedom in peace and safety.
It was a great day for the cannabis movement when we all had the luck to lay our little grain of sand to make this possible for everyone.
Mani Fiesta Acción! had three clear aims:
To assert the individual and collective rights of cannabis users.
To recognise the very important work of the commercial sector and the cannabis-related industry as an economic motor and job creator.
To remind ourselves that the humble seed is the basis of the cannabis industry.
From the political world, we were joined by Eduardo Van den Eynde (PP), Noemí de la Calle (Ciudadanos), Iñaki Álvaro Lavandera (PSOE) and Juan Moreno Yagüe (Podemos), there were also tables set up to collect signatures for the first grow-your-own law and CSCs promoted by "Tu Papel Importa".
On stage, we were entertained by big names such as Morodo, SwanFyahbwoy, Emeterians, SFDK. Gordo Master and many more.
Without doubt an unforgettable day for @ll cannabis lovers.
