About Medical Seeds

MedicalSeedS is a seed bank based in Barcelona, founded in 2005 with the mission of improving previously selected genetics to create seeds of the highest quality. We work on a very controlled production in size to focus our efforts on ensuring the best quality of our seeds. This is why we work with all the varieties separately and thus we can study each one in depth and understand their behavior throughout the entire cultivation process. In this way we know how the varieties react to pests, fertilization, flowering periods, indoor/outdoor harvest, ability to withstand cold and fungi. Through our meticulous production and the strictest quality control we guarantee the quality of our products before launching them on the market. All our work on genetic improvement, breeding, and research with live plants is carried out in countries where cultivation is legal.
The experience acquired over the years as growers has taught us that it is very important to grow with quality seeds and that is why we have been selecting the best genetics from all over the world for some time. We have always taken special care when combining and crossing varieties with the intention of achieving improved genetics of high quality and tested over a long and complete period before going on the market. We are very proud of our varieties, which are known for their great yield, flavor, aroma, wonderful crystallization of THC and for their effectiveness as a therapeutic supplement to treat different ailments.
Our varieties have collected more than 100 cannabis awards in the last 10 years, both nationally and internationally. And most importantly, more than 30% of them are cups won by growers who opted for our seeds, thank you all very much!!
On a medicinal level, we have done a very extensive search to be able to facilitate the different uses of Cannabis therapeutically, whether by translating studies that have been done in other countries, writing articles for various magazines with the intention of showing the public how to make their own. tinctures and extracts or developing plants with either CBD, CBG, THC or a 1:1 ratio.
We are deeply involved in promoting the therapeutic aspect of marijuana, differentiating ourselves from other seed banks by providing information on responsible consumption methods and advising our clients on the therapeutic properties of this plant. We also collaborate with different institutions and companies on projects on the development of cannabis products and extracts such as CBD.
All this research work has led us to write a book "Cannabis Extractions" where we compile all the information and experience that we have accumulated over these years. This book develops a step-by-step guide to the mechanical and chemical processes of cannabis extraction. An illustrated book, in two languages, English and Spanish, and with all kinds of details and photographs.
